Chip’s experience in broadcasting has spanned over 28 years. He began his career working in the engineering departments of call letter stations where he advanced from bench technician to Chief Engineer. For the past 15 years he has worked as a systems designer developing projects that range from small studio subsystems to complete broadcast facilities. Along with designing he has also performed testing, troubleshooting and configuration of broadcast facilities. Prior to coming to VTI Chip worked as a project engineer for Ascent Media SI (formally AFA), Professional Communications, Inc. and The Whitlock Group. Clients he has worked with over his career in system design include major networks such as The Weather Channel, PBS and Fox News Channel, cable systems such as Comcast and Verizon FiOS as well as several call letter stations from market 1 to 120.
